This is Galileo, before he swallowed up the Kraken demon and thusly damned to waste away in one of the 9 Circles of Hell [don't worry, he gets out after about 3,000 years :3]. It's supposed to be underwater [see the blue background?], but I don't like coloring underwater-stuff, because it seemed like a big pain in the ass, and I decided to just have him floating, giving the illusion that he is - indeed - underwater. =P

I like the red coattails and hood [and what you see is what you get]. I originally was going to call him a Priest, but wanted to make his garbs red, and going through the various names of clergy men [Pastor, Father, Priest, Rabbi, Monk, Pope, et al.] I decided with Cardinal, because they wear red garbs. Either way, he's of the highest member of the cetacean Clergy, with a vast arsenal of demon-smiting divine power and miracle-ensuing holy blessings to show for it.

The staff is not necessarily used in his healings and stuff, but is merely a symbol of his status. If you'll notice the sigil at the top of it [yes, it is just floating there], you might recall that it's similar to the 'Darkness' or 'Moon' crest in my Element Wheel. There is good reason I put that there, however; in the faith, it is known that the Moon rules over the tides, and thus is seen as a child of Mother Ocean [otherwise known as Sister Moon]. Then there's the random crap I threw on to make it look neat [jewel, angel wings, all that crap at the bottom of the staff]. :3

One last little tidbit of pointless trivia: this is K'vin grown up [remember that little cutie orca hiding behind Deborah of another pic of mine?] 'Galileo' is the name given to him when he joined the Clergy.

Trial and error leads to knowledge, and that knowledge leads to dominance.-Xyro Havok

The truth maybe devastating, yet it is fair. -Kaulcifer Silverheart

Knowledge is gained by books, but wisdom results from experience. -Wingaudium Diamondwings
Thats a really in-depth background you got going for him! He's a really cool character and I like the colouring. Next time you should totally go for the full underwater scene, you could do it, just use some pics for reference or something ><!
